- Shahi Masjid: This is one of the oldest masjid of the Barabanki and most beautiful as well. It was constructed by Taqaiyya Beghum who was the wife of an Awad Nawab. It is situated in the Begumganj area which got it's name from Taqiyya Beghum, she used to stay at the place while travelling from Lucknow to Faizabad. Right now Ahle Sunnat Jamaat is being conducted here, and Shia jamaat conducted very often. Although the management is now in the hand of Ahle Sunnat because it was given to them many years back as they had much population near masjid and no place to worship there but still Momineen conducted some majaalis here and also one of the oldest juloos of 8th Muharram initiated from same masjid.
Imambargah
- Imambada Meer Masoom Ali: One of the oldest Imambargah of the city which is situated in Katra, a locality in old city. The building has a small hall, a court yard and a big lawn.
- Askari Hall: Situated in Askari Nagar, Dewa Road. One of the most engaged and busy imambargah of the city due to thick shia population around it. Many major programs are being conducted here whole year which is being increased gradually. The hall contains sitting capacity of around 250 people.
- Karbala: This Karabala which is situated on the National Highway-27 (Lucknow-Faizabad Road) was gifted to shias by the District Magistrate of British India, Niblet. From then it is the place of burying tazia on the day of Ashura. The place is regularly being used by momineen for various programs all over the year. Newly constructed hall in the campus is being proved very helpful to momineen for conducting programs. It has a large entrance gate which is famous for it's resemblance to Shrine of Imam Husain (as) in Karbala, Iraq.
- Taqiyya Beghum Imambada: This imambada is near the Shahi Masjid in Begumganj. It was also constructed by Taqiyya Begum. Unfortunately the old building is totally got in ruined and now it is only a piece of land surrounded by a boundary wall and a teen shade. Majlis from 1st to 10th Muharram is being conducted here.
